Paquette Orthodontics utilizes the latest in metal technology in our choice of archwires. The amazing archwires we
have at our disposal allow them to place almost no pressure on the teeth when inserted into the braces. These wires
are an offshoot of military technology and have the incredible property of heat-activated shape memory. What that
means for our patients is less pain and faster treatment. By warming the wires to just above body temperature,
the wires gradually return to a perfect archform shape and bring the teeth with them. In short, it lets our patients
do much of the tightening themselves and also makes it possible for us to increase the interval between
appointments to as long as 12 weeks.
